Beekman Point Engineering designed multiple systems for the expansion of the U.S. Waffle facility in Liberty, SC. Our services encompassed ventilation and HVAC design, chilled water system design, and comprehensive plumbing design services. For the chilled water system, we calculated the required fluid delivery flow rate through water-jacketed mixing bowls, based on the exothermic heat rejected from the mixing process, adhering to ASHRAE Refrigeration principles. We also provided consulting services for nitrogen system distribution.

Full commissioning services were delivered, with all HVAC and plumbing systems tested against our written sequences of operation to ensure full compliance with the design intent.
