Beekman Point Engineering provided comprehensive commissioning services for the Phase 2 expansion of SHL Medical in North Charleston, SC. This included all new mechanical, electrical, and compressed air systems. Services included construction-phase commissioning reviews, functional performance testing, and verification of system operation to support facility performance objectives. In addition, BPE conducted a review of Phase 1 sequences of operation and performed facility staff interviews to investigate ongoing temperature and humidity control concerns, identifying opportunities for operational and controls improvements.
