Beekman Point Engineering provided the fire sprinkler system design analysis, hazard identification, and system installation parameters in accordance with NFPA 13, chapter 16. A fully redundant heating hot water boiler system with condensing boilers coupled with a waste heat recovery preheating from the ammonia refrigeration system for maximum energy conservation was designed.  Additionally, our mechanical design included modeling all Italian equipment in Autodesk Revit, multi-zone VAV systems for all offices, interstitial space ventilation and heating, chilled water systems, ammonia system emergency plume exhaust, and all sequences of operation. Electrically, BPE designed two Motor Control Centers, three service entry points with three transformers for the entire facility, lighting, data distribution compliant with Italian robotic systems, and all power distribution including all Italian manufactured processing equipment.  Our plumbing design included a 15,000-gallon grease interceptor, compressed air and facility distribution, water heating with condensing water heaters, trench drains with solid collection baskets, natural gas distribution, sub-slab plumbing plans to expedite construction start, water softening, back-flow prevention, and facility domestic a water booster pump system.
